Do I need to register my address (morada) when I move to Portugal?

Short answer: Yes — register your address at the Junta de Freguesia within 60 days of moving in and update your NIF address with AT.

The morada registration ties you to a Junta de Freguesia (parish) for civil purposes (voting, certificates). The NIF address update is via Portal das Finanças. Both are quick if your NIF and accommodation-contract names match — Greenlight's Visa Journey prompts these post-arrival.
